Arnold PTA is celebrating our "Grand Owls" this Friday, September 25th from 7:15AM-8:15AM. This will be a come and go event for our "Grand Owls" and their student with coffee, donuts, and an activity. The Book Fair will also be open during this time. Please allow time for the check-in process at the school and all visitors must bring a government issued identification as part of the school check-in process. Check your email for a link to pre-register.

Arnold PTA invites our male figures to be involved with the PTA Campus CHAMPS program! The goal is to volunteer to support students, help staff members, and provide a positive male presence around the campus. We encourage you to attend the Kick Off meeting on Thursday, September 24th. The Book Fair will be open from 5:15PM-6PM, and the information meeting will start at 6PM.

Our Arnold Book Fair begins this Wednesday, September 22nd and will close next Wednesday, September 30th. Please see the flyer for more information. Additionally, our Book Fair will be open from 5:15PM-6:00PM as part of the PTA Campus Champs kick off meeting on Thursday, September 24th and from 7:15AM-8:15AM during PTA Grand Owls Celebration on Friday, September 25th.

Dear Arnold Owl Families,

The wait is almost over! Tomorrow, our halls will finally come alive with our very first Arnold Owls! We are so excited to open our doors and begin this incredible journey together. From the moment your child arrives, we want them to know that they are welcomed, valued, and loved at Arnold Elementary.

First Day Arrival

Our doors will open at 7:25AM on the first day. On the first day of school only, parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child to class. Please note lunch visitors will begin August 24. More information to come.

After the first day, our doors will open at 7:30AM, and students will follow our regular arrival procedures and use their child's assigned transportation plan. We will have staff outside and throughout the building to help our Owls navigate the school.

Safety is our number one priority and we need your help! Car rider and biker/walker routes have been established with the goal of welcoming your child to school and seeing them home at the end of the day as smoothly and safely as possible. You can expect longer lines the first few days as we all learn the new routines and routes. Please see the transportation flyers below to see how to access our car rider line and our biker/walker routes.

Transportation Reminders

Please make sure your child and your child's teacher know the transportation plan for dismissal on the first three days. We anticipate the first few days feeling a little different as we learn, practice, and refine our routines.

Dismissal

Students will be dismissed at 3:10PM. These first few days, we will start our dismissal process a little earlier to allow time for students and staff to adjust to the routines of a new campus. Please be patient with the campus and district transportation as we all navigate the new procedures for car riders/bikers/walkers, as well as bus and daycare. Student safety is a priority.

Mrs. Couch and Mrs. Smith attended the Region 6 Mini Art Conference at Conroe High School to learn all things art for our little owls! They learned all about clay , Google Draw , Gelli Prints and so much more! So much to teach to our future artists!

Our Owl Team spent three impactful days at the High-Impact TEAMS in a PLC at Work Institute, gaining practical tools, strategies, and inspiration to strengthen collaborative teams and help all students learn at high levels.
